Christopher Rick
I am an assistant professor of public policy at Gettysburg College. I study transportation policy and the myriad ways it intersects the environment, students and schools, and health outcomes.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Environmental Health at the Boston University School of Public Health. I work on the Transportation, Equity, Climate, and Health Project to develop and research transportation solutions -- in collaboration with environmental justice advocacy groups -- to reduce the environmental impact of transportation and improve health outcomes, with a particular emphasis on environmental justice communities.
I earned my PhD in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University in 2022.
My email address is crick@gettysburg.edu.
